This blog, along with a Twitter account using the same handle, have been around for a few years. So far, nothing more than a scattering of tweets (which, consistent with the nature of the medium, are not always of the highest quality) and a few (ahem) random posts to commend to your attention ...
That said, a word or two further about the author. My name is David Witus. I was born and raised in the United States of America, beginning that not-so-arduous process on December 25, 1956. As for the result of it, I see nothing to be unduly ashamed of, nor much to be excessively proud of. In other words, for purposes of whether you wish to peruse any of my posts on this blog, or follow me on Twitter, the story of my background is not worth too deep a dive.
As for the photo on this page, yes, it does play a small role in my "about" story. Taking a look at the home address on my birth certificate, and then checking the "street view" on Google Maps, it was apparently to this little house that my parents brought me, in the middle of the last century, in a midwestern state, smack dab in the middle of the United States of America, to become the youngest of four children born to a medical resident (soon-to-become doctor) and his local girl (both from Detroit) spouse.
